Paul Rossbach

I just learned that fellow Order member Paul Rossbach passed away in March. From my previous conversation, I knew he did not want any memorial service or even an obituary.  When I shared the news with our President, Vangie Flores, she shared her thoughts, and I thought they made the perfect tribute to our Fiesta friend.

Marsha, I am so saddened by this news, but I respect his wish not to make a “big to-do”.  From our side, he merited a big to-do!!!  His heart was in Fiesta, and there were many wonderful things he completed and accomplished during his lifetime.  His reward is nowhere near what we might share about his accomplishments with the Order.  On the other hand, he and fellow “Cascarones must be celebrating their own “Order” in heaven, where many of our passed members now celebrate.

Viva members past and present of the Order of the Cascaron.  May we always remain humble in knowing that others have chosen to nominate and honor us in this regard.  Paul was one of the first inducted into the Order of the Cascaron.  It has grown exponentially!!  Thank you to its creators, our own Roger Flores Sr. included.  The memories from then to now remain vivid in my mind and heart.

Paul, may you rest in peace, and may you have great fun in Heaven.  Viva!!
